About the Board

Platform Youth Theatre is a member-driven organisation governed by a Committee of Management (the Board), who are all company members. The Board has a majority of people aged 26 years and under.

The Board meets at least once a month to discuss and advise on what’s happening with Platform. So, things like the artistic program, finances, management, promotion, as well as having a ripe old yarn about things in general.

There are up to 13 positions:
• Chairperson
• Vice Chairperson
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Access and Inclusion Officer
• Ordinary members.

You nominate to the Board for year-long terms. Elections are held at the Annual General Meeting. But you can join at any time, please contact us to have a chat.
