Press release extract…
Hide and seek bite sized theatre pieces in the basement of donkey wheel house.
The eternal debate – love, like, hate, characters searching for signs of a relationship in the future. Questioning the weight of definitive reality. In a gilded cage above a woven bathtub an exploration of sensual femininity, widowhood and revolution. Notions of truth, deceit and the little white lie take us to a mechanical realm where false words circulate and build to produce a structure on the brink of collapse.
The mentoring artists are: Gorkem Acrolugu – Dramaturg/Director, Tanya Beer – Design/Theatre Animateur, Celeste Croggon-Young – Dramaturg/Performer, Lucy Freeman – Director/Performance coach, Damien Miller – Writer/Design educator. For more information about the mentors see here for their short biography statements
A full list of company members for this project will be uploaded shortly.
