Background

Our major production for 2009 unpacks the words ‘Faith, diversity and difference’ from the point of view of young people of specific faith groups living in a secular society.

Stage one research, consultation and script development culminates with a first draft reading end September. Writer Adam J. A. Cass is working to create the performance text and will be informed by several story telling and performance making workshops delivered with the support of the Centre for Multicultural Youth and other relevant agencies at venues in North and Western suburbs of Melbourne.

Stage two involves presentation of a final work which will be directed by Caitlin Dullard and presentation is scheduled for early December 2009.

Get involved

We are currently inviting young people aged 16 to 26 to get involved with the project. We are conducting a series of story-telling and performance-making workshops in July and August 2009 at the Northcote Town Hall and at the donkey wheel house in the city near Southern Cross Station.
